New Dance Sounds: Timmy Trumpet, Jason Ross, BROHUG + More

As per usual, plenty of big releases this week. With the likes of Martin Garrix, Axwell, Jason Ross, BROHUG and more – November 1st has kicked off with a bang.

Martin Garrix & Dean Lewis – Used To Love [STMPD]
Halsey – Graveyard (Axwell Remix) [Capitol]
REZZ & Malaa – Criminals [REZZ/Confession]

Timmy Trumpet feat. Charlott Boss – Therapy [Hussle]

Australian Timmy Trumpet just had a massive AMF and now he brings us a fresh new single in ‘Therapy’. With sweat melodies and vocals heard throughout the production, the drop turns it upside down with a fast pace animated drop. His newest single has been released by local Sydney label Hussle, a sub-label of TMRW.

Jason Ross & Dabin feat. Dylan Matthew – One That Got Away [Ophelia]

Jason Ross has just released the second single from his upcoming album. Partnering up with Dabin and Dylan Matthew, they come together for an brilliant electronic smash. Dylan vocals bring a bright energy to the release, parallel to his track with SLANDER ‘Hate Being Alone’. Is this is an example of what’s to expect from his album, we cannot wait for ‘1000 Faces’.

Corey James & Marcus Santoro feat. Nino Lucarelli – Save Me [Heldeep]

When this collaboration was teased months ago, the anticipation began. Now that we finally have the track it is a real treat. To see these two names on Heldeep is a surprise, but listening to the record, it’s a good home. This is only Corey James’ third release this year, with the other two being on Size. Marcus Santoro on the other hand has been killing it, with released spanning across Protocol, Armada, Enhanced and now Heldeep.

Martin Ikin feat. Dope Earth Alien – Headnoise (Get Hype) [Cr2]

Martin Ikin remains on a roll, this time with ‘Headnoise’. The house master brings banging vocals and a technical house production. Released on Cr2, it is good to see them keep house alive.

Capa – Falcon Punch [Zerothree]

For his second single of the year, Capa blends energetic sounds with his signature progressive prowess. The Swedish act has been a consistent Zerothree artist and he continues that, this time with their new artwork.

BROHUG – Shatter [BROHOUSE]

The trio have released a range of new music these past weeks and they continue that run with ‘Shatter’. The bass filled production packs a punch and features eastern flute sounds – as with many other main room records at the moment. With this record, BROHUG have maintained a great level of quality with some super fresh hitters.

QUIX – Huhhh [Dim Mak]

New Zealand artist QUIX has really brought it with his new EP out on Dim Mak. The title ‘Huhhh’ is basically the reaction when it drops, it smacks you right in the face with the intense trap sounds and elements.

Sultan + Shepard feat. Page – In A Few Years [Armada]

Today, Sultan + Shepard release their debut album ‘Echoes Of Life: Day’ and with that, a slew of new singles. One of the best new tracks is ‘In A Few Years’, with Page on vocal duties. Page’s quality vocals are of course at the forefront of the production, intertwined with the brilliant ‘good feel’ instrumental.

GRAVEDGR – 6 FEET UNDER [Heavyweight]

This mysterious producer has remained exclusive to Carnage’s Heavyweight imprint since his debut. That rings true with his 8th single appropriately names ‘6 FEET UNDER’. The unknown artist is legitimately a grave digger for his 9-5. The production really hits hard and incorporates hardstyle elements with powerful trap notes – along with the dark vocals, this single will be a hit with fans.
