RL Grime Drops Stacked 3 Part PLAY Album

After cryptically teasing multiple projects on social media, influential trap producer RL Grime has released PLAY, an ambitious album featuring 21 tracks, separated into three sections titled APEX, GRID and RUSH, each with their own intro.

The three sections showcase a different part of Grime’s sound. APEX is tailor-made for his classic trap festival peices while the collaboration-packed GRID will feature vocal-filled bass anthems. RUSH delves into a more experimental direction as he explores elements of deep house, future breaks and techno.

The album is simply amazing, RL Grime knows that he has fans across several genres and accommodates to them all, it also allows him the freedom to produce a range of styles. Every track is incredibly produced and the end result is a polished LP that will stand the test of time across all three parts.

Five years have passed since Grime released their last complete album, the electrifying NOVA in 2018. This particular endeavor still holds a special place in the hearts of fans, primarily due to its festival-ready tracks like “Era” and “Pressure.” Additionally, the album spawned worldwide dance sensations such as ‘I Wanna Know’ featuring Daya and ‘UCLA’ with 24hrs.
