Sutton Place Lays Down Slick House Vibes In Single ‘The Prince Of Broadway’

Dynamic duo focused on house music, Sutton Place, have revealed a tasty number that hits the spot in “The Price Of Broadway.” The single comes a place of feeling yourself and being in a mode of confidence and ownership. Sutton Place mentioned that the vibe had them feeling like they “owned the block,” this energy delivered through the rave stabs, upbeat percussion, and trippy sample.

The single doesn’t have a ton of melodic nature connected to it, but the melody that is does have comes from the stabs, yet the minimal nature of the melodic elements within the single plays as a positive and enhances it’s uniqueness.

“The Prince Of Broadway,” follows up other heaters like “Street Clothes,” both having certain common cues between them that support was is and more so becoming the groups ‘signature sound.’

Dana and Nick, who make up Sutton Place, were friends in high school and Dana even taught Nick how to DJ at that time. They still kept in touch but it wasn’t until COVID that they reconnected and kick off the alias. It was a choice that would be life-changing and something they would not regret.

“The Prince of Broadway,” is another notch on the belt of a visionary project.
