Swedish House Mafia Are In The Studio With Empire Of The Sun

As shown in another Instagram post days ago, Swedish House Mafia, specifically Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, were in the studio with Mike Dean. That has now been followed up with Steve Angello being pictured together with Empire of The Sun’s Luke Steele as well as Todd Cooper. Both Mike Dean and Todd Cooper are well known producers and engineers and have both lent their talents to the rap and urban genre.

Since Swedish House Mafia wrapped their reunion tour in September, fans and the industry have pondered what the Swedish trio have been up to. Now it seems clear, they’ve been working on new music. Since returning from tour, Swedish House Mafia have two key records ‘Underneath It All’, a brilliant emotional vocal hit and ‘It Gets Better’, a groovy progressive hitter. They also have two records together with A$AP Rocky.

Considering Swedish House Mafia are back in the studio, signs are pointing to an album. Having not released music in the 18 months they have been back, they are waiting for something – it is just a question of what. It would be a smart decision to release a collection of music in early 2020 with an American tour following.
