After weeks of teases, Swedish House Mafia and Sting’s team-up has arrived. The thumping house record features Sting’s vocal from his iconic record under The Police; ‘Roxanne’. The vocals were re-sung by Sting for this new version.
The banging house record is more groovy that previous Swedish House Mafia outputs and thanks to Sting’s contribution, the record traverses the line between commercial and underground. As with all recent outputs from the Swedes, the record concludes with a haunting outro.
With Swedish House Mafia recently announcing the album was done, it will be interesting to see if ‘Redlight’ serves as the last single before the album ultimately releases.
