Sweet Harmony: Rave exhibition at Saatchi Gallery

London’s Saatchi Gallery is hosting SWEET HARMONY: RAVE from July 12th– Sept 14th, “An immersive retrospective exhibition devoted to presenting a revolutionary survey of rave culture through the voices and lenses of those who experienced it”

The event will be featuring multimedia room installations, audio-visual works, typographic accounts, photo series, live music events, and panel discussions by the architects and influencers giving huge insights on the movement. Through the stories and photos of the people who experience this history, you will have the chance to relive the revolution of the emerging club scene from the 80s and 90s.

The experience will be hosted by the artist and observers of the moments to include photographers Tom Hunter, Vinca Petersen, Ted Polhemus, Dave Swindells and Mattko. The captivating experience will be accompanied by Spotify curated playlists to include sub-genres of Detroit Techno, Acid House, happy Hardcore, UK Garage, and Grime.

Make your way to the exciting program of live events in Gallery 10 to include commissioned artworks and sound installation pieces from the talented combination of Lost Souls of Saturn, Carsten Nicolai, Weirdcore and Conrad Shawcross.
