Tomorrowland has unveiled the full lineup along with set times. Previously, Tomorrowland had an empty spot for the closing of Sunday mainstage.
It has now been revealed that week 1 will have “15 YEARS OF ICONIC ANTHEMS featuring 3 ARE LEGEND (Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki) AND FRIENDS”. Having Dimitri Vegas & Mike and Steve Aoki (as well as others) performing the past 15 years of of anthems sounds huge! It will definitely be a highlight of weekend one. Tomorrowland made no official announcement regarding this which for something of this magnitude is strange.
Which whilst this is exciting, it’s not Swedish House Mafia. With all the evidence point to the Swedes playing Tomorrowland, we hope to see them close off the second weekend!
Steve Angello was forwarded an article covering the topic and he shut down the “fake news” and that they weren’t ask to play this weekend. This does not kill the hope that they’ll play at all, as he does say this weekend specifically. So at this point, there’s every chance Swedish House Mafia will close down week 2.
