Porter Robinson Premieres New Song “Look At The Sky”
While live streams have become pretty regular scheduling for weekend entertainment, Porter Robinson’s Secret Sky announcement had a different wave of excitement about it.
The ‘Secret Sky’ digital festival included sets from a stack of diverse artists from across the electronic music spectrum while raising money for an important charity. Porter played a set under his Electro-House alias DJ Potaro and brought on guests including the likes of Madeon, Jai Wolf, San Holo. However, Porter’s own set was undoubtedly the highlight of the night.
Fans tuning in around the world hoped that his set would include music from his forthcoming album Nurture as well as his major hits from his previous album Worlds. In the end not only did he wow audiences, but he also gave them something a little special with the reveal of a new song called “Look At The Sky” to finish off the performance.
If you were not able to tune in to the stream to hear it live, luckily a recording has been uploaded for all to enjoy. While it’s not clear if it’s taken from ‘Nurture’ or was something created especially for the digital festival, we hope that we can add it to our playlists and blast it out sooner than later.
