Zac Brown Band has dug up an unreleased track for fans. This surprising release reimagines a Zac Brown Band favourite while honouring the legacy of musical icon Avicii. The late DJ, renowned for his genre-defying electronic music and unforgettable melodies, left an indelible mark on the dance scene, and his influence continues to echo.
‘Beautiful Drug’, which appeared on the group’s 2015 album, JEKYLL + HIDE, will receive the remix treatment courtesy of incredible talent Avicii, and it’s coming Friday.
“This has been in the vault for a long time. Before Avicii’s passing, he and I worked on a song called ‘Broken Arrows’ and in return, he promised to do a remix on one of my songs. So we have ‘Beautiful Drug,’ the Avicii version of that, coming out,” Zac shares with fans via an Instagram video.
The remix features some incredible melodies that showcase Avicii’s influence and injection into the original. It’s amazing to hear what a remix from Avicii would sound like from 10 years ago.
