ZHU Showcases Sleek New Fashion Line in New Music Video Featuring 24KGolden, “I Admit It”

The famously mysterious, desert-psychedelic EDM superstar ZHU delivers an industrial-meets-ethereal creative turn in his new music video “I Admit It”, released today under the well-renowned label Astralwerks. The track features fellow Bay Area native’s up-and-coming 24KGolden, who you might recognize from the XXL 2020 Freshman Class and his top-charted single “Mood” featuring Iann Dior.

The video introduces us to the reconstructed factory warehouse, altered to fit to the sleek aesthetic ZHU has created over the years with his fashion line. It features items such as reformed hazmat suits, plastic duffle bags, orange-and-black platform shoes, and an array of urban street-style graphic tees and long sleeves, all featuring an industrial post-modern world meets street-style urban life fashion style. The models in the video follow this theme being shown stripping from the everyday factory work gear into the sleek, sensual neo-industrial pieces strutting down the factory catwalk, while ZHU and 24KGolden spit their rhymes to the camera.

This morning, ZHU announced the official “I Admit It” fashion show fan screening, airing on November 13th in DTLA, including an all-exclusive Blacklizt set from ZHU himself. To add to the exclusivity, an extremely limited number of passes are available for the advance in-person screening. Fans can enter to win tickets for them and 4 friends here, with all COVID-19 protocols being enforced at the event. The fashion show screening will be available for viewing here on Twitch, collaborating with Luminosity Gaming for their 4-day EGLX 2020 showcase, ZHU being the music director and hosting the featured stars.

“I Admit It” is a solid blend of hip-hop bass, deep distorted synths creating a similar theme of grimy sounds with the signature sensual, sleek guitar echoes that mimic the style of the video aesthetic. 24KGolden provides a hyped-up verse, partnered with ZHU’s ethereal vocals echoing over each chorus.

The 2020 Fall/Winter ZHU merchandise line will be available for purchase to the public Novmber 16th online, as well as his pop-up store in DTLA November 17-21, with reservations made here
