The hype has finally climaxed as Ultra Naté officially rolls out her full length album officially known as titled ULTRA. The album is her 10th studio work and bundles up so many collaborations and influences all in the same go. With that said, that classic house sound that Ultra Naté is so well known for is still present and as strong as it’s ever been.
From the uplifting energy of “Happy Feeling,” to the sentimental design of “New Life (Running)” the dynamism and meaningful themes displayed through the arc of the album makes it a winner – easily something that will stand the test of time.
Hailing from Baltimore, the artist beat all the odds to become a chart-topping sensation in the 90’s, which was a period in her career that could be safely labeled as the break-out chapter. Yet, this was just the start for the ambitious artist. The names she’s collaborated with over the decades is nothing short of jaw-dropping: Lenny Kravitz, Frankie Knuckles, NERVO, Todd Terry, Michelle Williams (of Destiny’s Child), is just a sliver of the talents she rubs shoulders with.
The solo musician just wrapped up performing half time at Wembley Stadium for Women’s Euros 2022, an event in which over 80,000+ were seated for and over 200 million in Europe viewed, it virtually doesn’t get any bigger than that when it comes to opportunities to perform.
On top of this, it’s worth mentioning Billboard Magazine has listed her as a Greatest Of All Time, an incredible honor in itself.
She has millions of spins and streams to her name and continues to push herself to limit and evolve with the times.
