Electronic music group Above & Beyond is gearing up to release their latest single, “500,” which will be the highlight of their upcoming EP, Tranquility Base Vol. 1. The EP, featuring five tracks, was recorded live in front of 25,000 fans in Los Angeles last October.
The songs in the EP draw features that apathetic, classic Above and Beyond sound that the world needs now more than ever. The project pays tribute to Above & Beyond’s Tranquility Base persona, having an iconic place in trance music history.
“500” holds particular significance as it was written specifically for its debut in Los Angeles and was also performed during Above & Beyond’s sold-out Printworks London event in April. The EP combines softer moments with energetic dancefloor atmosphere, a signature characteristic of their sound.
