After receiving support over the past few weeks, “Runaway” quickly went viral and gained support from major international artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Moguai, and Kryder himself. The song even reached 21 international playlists in the 1001 Tracklist platform. Amassing over 50 thousand streams on Spotify only, its safe to say that the Brazilian created a masterpiece.
Aiming to release a song on a record label outside Brazil, Brannco, Viktor Mora and Dani Vellocet managed to attract the eyes of Sosumi Records, and even before its release, the song had already received support from major artists such as Cosmic Gate and Moguai, both of whom played “Runaway” on their radio shows.
When Brannco and Mora finalized the initial idea, they noticed that they needed a vocal for the song, so Mora got in touch with Dani Vellocet and sent the idea to her. “When I first heard “Runaway”, I felt it had a lot of energy! My feeling was to make a melody and lyrics with a lot of movement, to follow the raw drive of the track. I imagined two people escaping, hand in hand, to a perfect place, nirvana. This tune is all about energy and feeling. A perfect match.” explains Dani.
