Intertwining lost ethnic sounds and ancient instruments with 21st-century electronic vibes, Cafe De Anatolia has just unveiled a stunning compilation, once again cementing itself as an undisputed tastemaker within electronic music. Titled ‘Sun’ and curated in partnership with IV-IN and Rialians On Earth, the various artists compilation features a total of 14 immersive tracks, with the aim of spreading awareness about the beautiful sounds made in the Organic Downtempo genre.
“Sun” features an impressive lineup of talents, that includes IV-IN, Andreea Secrieriu, Dan Bay, B.o.T, Lev Tatarov, Kyongpaul, Morning Delusions, Kandar, Narcisse (Mex), Nicolas Giordano, Papfay, Qaraqoom, Sytec & Oluba, Vekt (RO), Erika Szekely, Wanduta and Rialians On Earth.
Stunning tracks such as “Touched” by IV-IN and Andreea Secrieriu and “Kannakol” by Dan Bay kick off the compilation with their analog synth lines and organic percussion. Tracks such as “Feel” by Lev Tatarov, “Second Life” by Morning Delusions and Kandar, and “Man O To” from Narcisse (Mex) continue the sonic journey with their intimate melodies and subtle downtempo house grooves. Finally, label co-founder Rialians On Earth completes the compilation with the playful “Zanzibar,” which follows sonic gems such as “Elegia” by Vekt (RO) with help from Erika Szekely’s stunning vocals, and “Me Quedaria” by Wanduta.
