Deadmau5 Unveils Long Awaited Single ‘SATRN’

Whether it’s controversial statements, issues surrounding mental health or public stunts, deadmau5 is always in the spotlight and with almost 25 years of experience under his belt, it’s safe to say that he has become one of the most eminent producers there is. Now, for his thirty-second release, deadmau5 presents his latest single, ‘SATRN’.

Impeccable synth design and moody chord progressions form the driving force behind this track, and with a unique choice of space-themed sound design, ‘SATRN’ plays with the listener’s expectations, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats for its entirety.

Despite the current industry-standard of artists releasing radio edits for streaming platforms, in this case, deadmau5 breaks the mold, with a compelling original mix realized alongside the edit, more than double the length of the radio edit and well your attention. The original mix adds more continuity and pacing to the arrangement, and an arguably presents a more coherent listening experience

Currently on tour, the next couple of days are certainly going to be interesting for fans of the EDM community, who will no doubt get their first glance at how the track looks performed as part of the live show.
