FLYBOY JACK is the amalgamation of Jordan Dennis and JUJO. The duo have had success independently and have joined forces to deliver something completely unique to the evolving sound of the Australian Hip Hop landscape. They have delved into the beginnings and more with their mini documentary. After releasing their mixtape late last year, the duo turn their heads to Teamwrk on a multi single deal.
‘Weed Walk’ is the first escapade that comes from the duo under Teamwrk. The track is out today, January 28th and is paired with an incredibly video highlighting weed culture.
JUJO explained the ‘WEED WALK’ single as “the love you have for weed when you’re smoking it for the first time. It lures you in and you’re either in love with it or hate it, but it unlocks something in you. It’s a fun song that embraces the roots that we both love.”
JUJO described the incredible video “It was my very first video, so I was initially nervous, but in the end it was a great experience. I think we smoked 37 tea joints that day…my lungs are still recovering. My favourite scene was the cut away with Jordan and myself in samurai outfits, we walked 3 kms in those outfits to get the taping spot.”
With the release of ‘Weed Walk’, FLY BOY JACK are poised to continue their impressive reign as Australia’s most exciting new musical project.
