Jason Bateman, Will Arnett & Sean Hayes Launch ‘Smartless’ Podcast With Guests Dax Shepard, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Seth Rogen and Awkwafina

Podcasts are often hosted by a few friends talking about topics and people they love. It’s a unique format that results in organic conversations we wouldn’t otherwise hear. Now three friends have gotten together for a new show and they happen to be some of the funniest minds in Hollywood. Named Smartless, we see Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Ozark), Will Arnett (Arrested Development, BoJack Horseman), and Sean Hayes (Will and Grace) jumping on their mics together.

It debuted this week and seeing the hosts ‘own it’ makes most of us want to hit play. We assume like Kevin Hart and The Rock, that Hollywood stars are close friends but we rarely get to hear them interact with each other outside of the shows they are in and press circuit interviews when they work together, however with the rise of Podcasting this barrier has broken down quite a bit.

However for a bit of extra spice, they’ve got a unique element of surprise for the show. On every episode of Smartless, one of the hosts gets to bring on a mystery guest, and the trio get into deep discussion with the guest. The first episode features Dax Shepard and future episodes are slated to feature the likes of Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Seth Rogen and Awkwafina.
