Jimmy Pe has released a music video for the single “Booty Pop,” which comes off his now-released EP titled Puzzle. The EP is signed to Universal Music Slovakia, a stepping stone for Jimmy as he’s set to bring this project to the best format is can be, and that means coming to the states soon as well.
“Booty PoP,” wastes no time getting wild. A young woman in a leotard begins to twerk. You soon collect that the world in which Jimmy Pe is in, and why the world is the middle of an earthquake, is because Jimmy’s planet, maybe the universe, is residing in her badonkadonk, if you will. The more she shakes, rattles, and rolls, the more immediate danger bestows Jimmy.
Backing the video is easy to follow lyrics and a slurred bassline. The simple tech house beat makes the visuals of the video easier to follow. Jimmy takes a ‘less is more’ approach with the production, a feat that pays off and has a greater effect than something that tries to pack a ton of sound in all at once.
Following up “Pe is Not Dead!,” Jimmy has an artistic eye and knows how to align a great team around him, “Booty PoP,” is the latest example of this.
