Maddy O’Neal is one who revels in creative spaces. Her debut LP and EP’s reflect this sentiment to a tee, her catalog is thick, filled with many releases which now prove they stand the test of time. In this moment, the focus is all on the sophomore LP Ricochet, which will be here most defining work to date.
“Never Fades,” was the first single to be teased off the album, which was unveiled in May. Then this past July, “Follow Me,” came next, the singles together collectively made solid buzz on the internet and upped her notoriety that much more.
All eyes are focused on “Change Of Pace,” an experimental bass influenced vocal track that doesn’t sound like any one vibe that’s out there. The many concoction of genres, moods, and influences rendering a refreshingly original vibe.

MOONZz is the feature on this single, who has worked with a ton of big names in the industry including DROELOE, SLUMBERJACK, Big Gigantic, and many others. These two were an absolute match made in heaven, Maddy O’Neal and MOONZz having generous crossover appeal and commonalities between them, as well as a tight friendship.
The singles, including “Chance Of Pace,” will have to hold us over until Ricochet hits streaming platforms on Septmber 20th. This will be one of the biggest undertakings to be revealed by Maddy O’Neal yet.
