Masked French artist Malaa has just dropped his debut album Don Malaa. The album features a range of various talent from the likes of DJ Snake, Tchami, A-Trak and even Ghostface Killah.
Malaa is known for his gritty underground house style that is of course featured throughout the 14 peice album. The French anoumymous artist does travel outside of that lane with a number of other genres felt throughout.
It is really great to see an album drop with almost all of it being new music. In this day and age, a lot of an album is released as singles before being included in one package. With Don Malaa, he’s opted to release just three tracks as singles, meaning there is eleven new records to experiance at once.
Don Malaa is a very solid debut album, it may not win any awards but it is a terrific listen from front to back and includes some killer work.
