Martial Simon Drops Catchy Cover Of Rusted Root’s ‘Send Me On My Way’

Released on his own label GET SET Records, established DJ/producer Martial Simon has release a fitting cover of the single “Send Me On My Way.” Originally released by Rusted Roots, Martial Simon brings it up to speed with a modern flair built in. Using sophisticated samples that make it more relevant to modern times, a more emotional aura is bright out that’s bright and colorful. Not only is the single good on it’s own, but it would fit right into a club set, having the bells and whistles built in to be easily included in a mix. Vocalist Mike Burke was featured on the track, a Nashville based talent, clearly the two having a creative chemistry between each other that they took full advantage of.

“This record is very special to me. I teamed up with vocalist Mike Burke based in Nashville. He and I attended the same high school in Massachusetts. We both loved the original by Rusted Root growing up. What better way to remake it, together with the same vision. A powerful drop with soulful vocals, perfect for any dancefloor or beach party. This song definitely takes you on a ride.”
