NISHA Brings Together A Star-Studded Cast In “Figures” Music Video

With a songwriting resume that includes the RIAA gold-certified single from Gryffin & ILLENIUM “Feel Good” feat. Daya, HARBER’s “Savior” feat. Axel, NISHA’s career thus far has been nothing short of incredible. Her own work on singles such as “Midas,” “Bad Sandy” with Feli Ferraro, “Parade,” & “Sandcastles,” to her “Wendy” collaboration with Sizzy Rocket has been supported by The New York Times, HuffPost, Spotify’s heralded editorial playlists New Music Friday and EARMILK, among others.

Her latest track, “Figures,” has just released a full music video in association with Pug Life Records®, a label dedicated to the unity of South Asian artists. Actors include Nik Dodani from Atypical and Murphy Brown; Ritesh Rajan from Netflix’s Russian Doll; Karan Bar from Nickelodeon’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid; and Sachin Bhatt from Once Upon A Time.

When asked about the track, NISHA stated; “‘Figures is a song about feeling underestimated, and the dark side of comparison”. NISHA is challenging the rigid boundaries she grew up with while paying homage to the culture of competition and high expectations that formed her as an artist. Starring a Southeast Asian cast, she presents a subversive microcosm of the world in a fairytale satire of our favorite vices.” The fast-paced music video perfectly reflects this with quick cuts to elaborate scenes with incredible body language displayed by all 30 actors involved.

Each moment is gripping and elevates the track to a cinematic level of enjoyment and intrigue. Watch and listen for yourself using the links embedded below:
