A collision of multiple genres and eccentric soundscapes, Rich Furniss is back with his new single, “Desire”. The title of the track is exactly how the listener will feel once hearing it: an unfulfilled desire to play it again and again and again. Teaming up with Morsy and Andrew Charles, “Desire” opens with a soothing yet groovy beat that draws influence from vintage house and combines it with new era sounds.
Speaking on the project and his career in general, Rich states, “The energy between Morsy, Buck and I was just natural when making “Desire,” I feel like a balance of all of us are in here. Since starting Rich Furniss in September of 2021, I wouldn’t have envisioned things coming so far so quick or to have the support from bigger artists I love on my music. I am pumped about the future!” The future sure looks bright for Rich, based on seamless layering of hypnotic vocals and transcendent soundscapes in “Desire”.
Like Rich mentions, he has come a long way from the beginning of his musical journey. Along with performances at SXSW, Miami Music Week, and the Governor’s Ball, he has been featured on a number of prime house labels, from House U to Global 305. Now with “Desire”, released on his own imprint Quincy Boy Records, Rich is diving into the next chapter as a blossoming artist.
