Running Touch Unveils Stunning New Song “Ceilings”

A multifaceted songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and creative director, Melbourne’s Running Touch has managed to grab the attention of many over the past 5 years of sharing his music with the world. With collaborations with the likes of Hayden James and Ocean Grove, as well as remixes for names like Crooked Colours and ODESZA, he has positioned himself as a dominant force within the music industry, and is only rising higher with each release.

Following earlier 2021 single “Juno,” Running Touch has now returned with yet another infectious gem, sharing his latest piece of art, “Ceilings.” A vibrant showcase of Running Touch’s broad range of influences, “Ceilings” is filled with intricate yet exciting moments, from the artist’s impactful vocal lines to the plucky guitar melodies and atmospheric synths. As Running Touch explains about the song:

“I really fell in love with this loaded, anthemic sound in this period, referencing strong samplers who create synths and sounds that feel in-between organic and synthetic like Calvin Harris, Daft Punk and Leno. I wanted to mix this with live drums, and I think that’s what really drives it into life. I tried out a lot of chorus vocals but settled on this because it felt reminiscent of one of my favourite songs: ‘Porcelain’, by Moby.”
