Swedish House Mafia To Release Debut Album ‘Paradise Again’ In 2021

Announced today, Swedish House Mafia have planned their debut album Paradise Again for later this year. This news follows the release of ‘It Gets Better’, which is set to release at 12pm EST.

Thanks to a cover story with Billboard, SHM detailed their plans and comeback. New music, a new manager (SALXCO) and a new label (Republic) has set the Swedes on a new path and a much welcomed return.

“I’m not trying to like, satisfy the digital market,” says Angello. “My big play here is making an album we love and putting it out. I’m not going to go into the studio and call the guys and be like, ‘Yo, numbers are cold on the playlist.’ We don’t give a f–k.”

Paradise Again, says Angello, is “just the beginning,” adding that they have enough music for a couple more albums yet. “You always want people to like your music, otherwise you wouldn’t play it to them,” says Ingrosso. “But the vision of the album, for me, it’s not really important if it sells 400 million [copies] or 10.” As Angello points out, they’ve already achieved something that, for so long, was more elusive.

The group also noted that they have enough music ready for multiple albums.

Swedish House Mafia fans will be over the moon, the trio really are back and 2021 will be a very exciting year. The album campaign kicks off with ‘It Gets Better’ today, with new music to come very soon from there on.
