FRASER And SEXPAYS Collab On Funkadelic EP ‘MIDNIGHT BEASTS’

With many years of experience under his belt, house DJ and producer FRASER has made his name well-known throughout the electronic scene. This Canadian artist has been making and mixing music for over 11 years and just a short while ago received a diploma for mastering Audio Recording Technology.

Influenced by a wide variety of genres, FRASER is one of four projects created by this gifted individual. FRASER’s alterego BORDERZ has gained support from global phenoms like Alan Walker, who played BORDERZ’s single “Get That Money” for a massive crowd at Northern Lights Music Festival. Only recently has FRASER chosen to dedicate his efforts towards the newer house music persona.

After discovering talented disco producer SEXPAYS, FRASER reached out to collab on what has turned into their first joint EP together, “MIDNIGHT BEASTS”. Describing the vision behind “MIDNIGHT BEASTS”, FRASER explains, “the inspiration and direction for this EP to me would be to pay homage to classic, raw sounding French House/French Touch from the late 90s & early 00’s. I want to bring this sound back; I feel it’s a timeless genre.”

Through lively basslines and groovy chrod progressions, FRASER and SEXPAYS have somehow managed to make French House even more timeless. The EP is overflowing with funky elements of disco and alluring vocal cuts that hypnotize the listener. Via mesmerizing tracks like “FALLING”, “OUT OF TOUCH”, and the other three house anthems, “MIDNIGHT BEASTS” is a an electrifying beginning to FRASER’s bright future.
