Skrillex has been back in a big way this year with some fantastic new music. Now he’s bringing the heat once again with an all-star collab for the track “Supersonic (My Existence).”
Renowned production trio Noisia and one-half of 100 Gecs, Dylan Brady bring their signature touches to this otherworldly production, while haunting vocals from josh pan float throughout.
For Noisia fans, this release is a big deal. The group had previously announced at the end of 2019 that they would be disbanding after a 2020 farewell tour. After that was delayed, the members continued to release music solo, most recently Nik Roos’ Sleepnet project with his wonderful First Light EP, as well as the groups Outer Edges Live album. It remains to be seen how much new music the group will continue to release.
As for Skrillex, this marks his third new track of 2021 after the bouncy house track “Butterflies” and pop punk jam “Too Bizarre” with Swae Lee. One can only speculate there is a bigger project on the way from him, but for now we hope to keep hearing bangers like this one.
