Disney+ has unveiled that an additional set of five “I Am Groot” short films will be making their way to the streaming platform, commencing on September 6.
The mischievous little sapling, Baby Groot, returns to his playful antics in the upcoming second season of “I Am Groot.” This time around, Baby Groot embarks on an adventurous journey throughout the cosmos and beyond while aboard the spaceships of the Guardians. During his escapades, he encounters novel and vibrant creatures and surroundings, often engaging in close encounters or even nose-to-nose interactions.
Vin Diesel once again lends his voice to Groot in these fresh set of five short stories. Kirsten Lepore, who served as the writer and director for the inaugural season, resumes the same roles for the second season. Supervising producer duties fall to Danielle Costa, while Craig Rittenbaum and Alex Scharf undertake the role of producers. The executive producer lineup comprises Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Kirsten Lepore. Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt holds the position of co-executive producer.
