Claptone is Here to Tantalize with his Series, Claptone In The Circus

We are in the golden age of streaming. Countless artists have flocked to the many digital services that provide the ability to live-stream, as well as, the ability to save and upload the video. It has provided us with hours of entertainment, fun, and a connection to our favorite artists, but most importantly a distraction from the on-going pandemic. One such act who is getting inventive with the lockdown streams is Claptone and his recently launched immersive series, “Claptone In The Circus”.

The 12 episode series is as majestic an experience as a live Claptone show. The masked-DJ will be accompanied by jugglers, fire breathers, knife-throws, and even a pony. The wacky entertainment won’t stop there with promises of more grandeur befit for a 17th century King’s Gala. Of course, all entertainers will adhere to the strict distancing guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.

The series promises to showcase Claptone’s incendiary DJ skills, while he drops some gems, including over 40 unheard originals, remixes, and edits. Each episode will benefit the local circus Claptone performs at and funds will also be raised for the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. Each show airs Wednesdays on Claptone’s Facebook and Youtube at 9PM CET / 3PM EST and are specifically themed for the week with the first being “House Classics”. His next episode is tomorrow with promises of even more outrageous fun and tantalizing grooves. Claptone had this to say about “In The Circus”:

“In these trying times, I’ve often found myself going on long, isolated walks to appreciate the beauty of nature. It was on one of these scenic, afternoon journeys that I first stumbled upon a tiny family-run circus. The circus director told me about their struggle to pay the rent and buy food for the animals since the pandemic hit, as they couldn’t put on public shows.
The following day, I returned, this time, with fresh carrots in hand, hoping to be able to meet and feed the animals. It was then and there that I decided not simply to donate food and money, but to play specially themed and carefully selected sets at this little circus, involving parts of their show, to bring joy to my friends and fans in sound and vision”

If this isn’t enough excitement for you, Claptone is also hosting “Claptone’s Quarantine Canteen” where the masked artist creates delicious dishes and provides a step by step walkthrough. He’s undeniably stepping up to provide us with entertainment during these trying times. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun!
