Petit Biscuit Reveals Delicate and Angelic Core Of Flume And Vera Blue’s ‘Rushing Back’

Flume hit back with his “Hi This Is Flume” Mixtape earlier this year and later graced us with a brand new Vera Blue featuring single called ‘Rushing Back’. Now we are receiving what look to be some legendary remixes, the first coming in today from Petit Biscuit.

Petit Biscuit peels back the punchiness and distortion that marked the original to expose a delicate and angelic core. It’s as if he is a shot of happiness that brings uplifting vibrance to “Rushing Back” like the warmth of a Spring Sun thawing the cold, barren winter.

The constantly evolving Frenchman has been a favourite of ours for many moons, and evidently we are not alone, his ‘Sunset Lover’ release sits at nearly half a billion plays on Spotify. He most recently teamed up with JP Cooper for ‘We Were Young’ and issued a solo release ‘Wide Awake’ earlier this year – both which have clocked up support from his thriving global audience.

It’s been apparent for a while that anything he adds his touch to turns to gold, however when it comes to Remixes he’s reserved it for a small few – Zedd & Alessia Cara’s 2017 ‘Stay’, Moi Je’s ‘Fais Renn’ and an unofficial ODESZA remix in 2015.

According to a tweet from Petit Biscuit, he first met Flume back in 2015 during his first festival appearance, however, in an earlier interview with Billboard he credits Flume being one of his first inspirations. Having been handed the reigns with this one, Petit Biscuit is showing us once again that he is indeed a remix King.
