Brazilian Talent Beowülf Releases Catchy Tune “Soldier”

0

Brazilian producer Beowülf releases “Soldier” his last single of 2019, a collaboration with Guz Zanotto and Zattera out via Sony Music. The tune starts with a mellow chord progression followed by a catchy vocal melody that functions as the chorus and repeats until the song reaches the first drop.

With an energetic futuristic bassline and chopped operatic slices, Beowülf transports the listener to an energetic journey displaying pop influences that blend well with electronic elements but still displaying his trademark production style. As a nice addition, Zattera’s vocal range supports the song resembling tunes from stars such as Avicii, Marin Garrix, and Skrillex.

For 2020, the Brazilian producer is expected to play at Lollapalooza following a successful year with live performances at the world-renowned festival Rock-in-Rio for over 100 thousand people where he played original songs fused with a live drum performance.

Madeon Releases Angelic Album ‘Good Faith’

0

Today, November 15th – French electronic maestro Madeon has finally released his Good Faith project into the world. Madeon came back to us with new music when he announced Good Faith and more specifically the first single ‘All My Friends’ back in May.

‘Good Faith’ is a prime example of quality over quantity. This was years in the making and the polished product consists of 10 productions, not an excessive number of tracks but each single is a standout. The LP takes you on a musical journey and the tracks are almost ‘score’ like, with atmospheric sounds and a glorious production quality heard throughout.

From start to finish, all the tracks present a similar feel and theme, with each one still having its own individual elements. There are definitely stand outs such as ‘All My Friends’ with its catchy melody and vocals. There is ‘Mania’ with its unique progressing theme that is particularly energetic. ‘Miracle’ on the other hand gives us almost a feel of the older style that Madeon produced – the vocal chops are in full force with this one. ‘Heavy With Hoping’ utilises a vibrant electronic lead to the last stage of the production, something that really showcases Madeon’s unique and brilliant sound.

We went three years without music from the talented Frenchman. That doesn’t seem like a bad price to pay now that we have this technical masterpiece! From track 1-10, the album is amazing and is a refreshing addition to 2019 dance music. Listening to the album thoroughly, it is clear that Madeon really enjoyed writing these tracks.

Will Sparks & Steve Aoki Unite on Appropriately Titled ‘Send It’

0

Australian Will Sparks and hard worker Steve Aoki have come together on Steve’s own label Dim Mak for ‘Sent It’. Steve Aoki has not released an original on Dim Mak since early last year, with the bulk of tracks going to Ultra Records.

‘Send It’ is a festival ready main room hitter that builds upon the classic Melbourne sound that Will made his name from. Utilising Aoki’s energetic vocals and Sparks’ stellar production, ‘Send It’ is set to be heard throughout the last quarter of 2019.

The is the first time the pair have collaborated, with Will Sparks remixing Steve Aoki’s Neon Future III single, ‘Anything More’ in the past. The official music video features several action sports stars ‘sending it’, including skateboard pioneer Tony Hawk, olympic snowboarding gold medalist Chloe Kim, and big wave surfer Kai Lenny.

Both Steve Aoki and Will Sparks have been smashing out singles, with the later releasing recent hits such as ‘Mona Lisa‘ and ‘Party Everyday‘ with Cat Dealers.

METTA Brings The Heat With New Single ‘Staar’

0

Having built his origins in the Swedish club scene, Los Angeles based brooding talent METTA has this week released his latest club focused offering ‘Staar’.

The release is a juicy concoction of modern trap rap, littered with violins, smashing piano and a dark and fierce drop. The release of ‘Staar’ follows his previous piano-laden ‘Shams’.

His goal as an artist is to bring back the music and style that he admired from artists over the past couple of years. “I want to bring back more of what i used to listen and play back in the days. You know those club bangers who got everybody to the dance floor. The kind of songs that no one can resist.” – METTA

With a number of high-quality productions to his name for METTA it’s just the beginning. Previous releases have garnered hundreds of thousands of plays, we expect ‘Staar’ to be no different. The self-released track is available now on all stores as well as being available for free download.

Felix Jaehn, Mesto & VCATION Come Together For ‘Never Alone’

0

Hit maker Felix Jaehn and Spinnin’ superstar Mesto come together for the first time. The duo tap Swedish talents VCATION for vocals.

Felix Jaehn has had a number of triumphs, most notably his rework of Cheerleader. Mesto has also hits – primarily in the underground dance scene, collaborations with Tiesto, Martin Garrix and Mike Williams come to mind.

‘Never Alone’ was written in collaboration with VCATION, a duo many might recognize based on their individual artistic contributions. Made up of Swedish House Mafia & Martin Garrix song writers, John Martin & Michel Zitron, VCATION lends their golden touch, alongside Dutch wunderkind Mesto.

The track address a universal struggle as well as delving into mental health awareness. The four artists reworked their feelings and emotions into a track ready for the festival scene as well as maintaining commercial appeal for the mass.

‘I felt lonely before, but now understand that I’m never actually alone. If you go through this world with an open heart you will find countless beautiful souls to connect with, no matter who you are and where you go. You are never alone!’ Felix Jaehn

Seven Lions, SLANDER & Dabin Tap NGHTMRE For ‘First Time’ Remix

0

NGHTMRE has been working overtime on remixes this year, providing us with a VIP of his track ‘Redlight’, a remix of Oliver Tree, as well as a remix of Dillon Francis & Alison Wonderland’s ‘Lost My Mind’. NGHTMRE now lends his talents to Seven Lions, SLANDER and Dabin’s ‘First Time’.

The production feels quite ‘Marshmello-esque’, with uplifting electronic sounds and high pitch vocals reminding us of several previous mello releases. Like the original, Dylan Matthew’s vocals are a focus point on this production. Overall it’s awesome to see NGHTMRE’s mix of this already excellent production.

This new take comes almost a year after the original – releasing in early October 2018. Both versions have been released through Seven Lions’ Ophelia imprint.

NGHTMRE, SLANDER and Seven Lions are all currently on their Alchemy Tour, so is not at all surprising to see this remix come to fruition.

Hardwell Finally Drops The Old School ID ‘Retrograde’

0

Just over a year has past since it’s original premier and we’ve finally been gifted with ‘Retrograde’, an nostalgic original from Hardwell! Being a fan favourite since its premier, Hardwell’s supporters will be ecstatic to see it released through his own imprint Revealed Recordings.

Hardwell has been on touring hiatus since September last year and will continue for the foreseeable future. His productions and releases have definitely not stuttered however, releasing 6 tracks so far this year.

‘Retrograde’ brings a sound that has been lacking in recent years. With a healthy element of dutch house and an impressive atmospheric break, the production really brings the energy! No wonder fans have been demanding it. The drop hits hard yet remains minimal. This has to be a highlight in Hardwell’s recent discography!

Hardwell on the music video:
“Lately I’ve been reliving so many happy memories from years gone by and so I thought I’d put a video together of how that sound, you know that ‘Hardwell signature sound’, still makes me feel after all these years! From the studio to the stage, I’ve had some of the best times of my life with the most talented artists and most incredible fans any artist could ever ask for.”

“It has always been a challenge for me to do my signature sound justice and describe that sound in words. So I’ll let this video explain how it makes me feel…hope you guys feel it too?!? “

22-year-old singer/songwriter/producer mastermind CADE returns to Ultra Music with his newest single ‘Yours’. The track is the perfect blend of breathy-pop music, indie guitar-driven melodies, and incredible energy, a testament to CADE’s diverse skill set across the board.

“‘Yours’ is about finding a love that feels like home. Good love is hard to find (especially in LA). This song is about wanting to give everything I have for my love,” Cade says.

With mesmerizing vocals and beautifully driven melodies, ‘Yours’ is the perfect mix of pop and dance, letting the record appeal to two different listening demographics.

“‘I’ve been writing so much music with so many amazing collaborators this year, but I wrote and produced this record alone in my home studio,” Cade says. ‘Yours’ feels so much more true and original to me than any record I’ve released previously. I just hope everyone feels this one as much as I do.”

With over 4.7 million monthly listeners, CADE continues to gain global attention performing support and headlining at music festivals around the world with acts like Cheat Codes, Jeremih, Mike Posner, and through strategic collaborations creating hit songs with Cheat Codes.

Meduza:

The Milan based house production trio comprised of Mattia Vitale, Luca De Gregorio and Simone Giani made waves in March when they released their debut single “Piece of Your Heart” featuring GOODBOYS, one of only a few house tracks to receive massive international radio play.  EDM fans should be sure to keep an eye on these rising stars.

In the last year, TARI’s string of releases on Cloudkid has shown his incredible production and songwriting ability. His unique style has attracted millions of listeners to his tracks.

3) EAUXMAR:

EAUXMAR’s been around for a while, but only in the last year has he truly begun to establish his place house scene. After being signed to Martin Garrix’s imprint label STMPD, he’s consistently been releasing innovative house tunes and expanding his small but dedicated fan base.

4) Jonas Aden:

The 22 year-old Norweigian house producer finally broke his more than year long silence with the release of his massive “future-tech” style track “I Dip You Dip” on Don Diablo’s Hexagon imprint. Since then, he’s continued to release top-notch house tracks to his fans.

5) Ramzoid

While Ramzoid isn’t new as a producer, the past few months have definitely been big for him. His massively successful YouTube channel has helped expose his music to millions of new fans. His recent tracks “World” and “Ball & Chain” have both seen huge success.
